From naval to commercial shipbuilding, AT&F brings the shipbuilding industry a rich blend of fabricating expertise coupled with experience managing large-scale engineering projects. AT&F offers components for the construction of naval ships, submarines, barges, tugs, oil tankers, off-shore support vessels (OSVs) and dredgers.
AT&F has served US Naval shipbuilding for more than 30 years and continues to do so through our Cleveland facilities. AT&F Marine has a commercially focused management team with experience in commercial ship repair and conversions, vessel management and large scale new built commissioning projects worldwide. In addition, AT&F India specializes in barge and shipbuilding, and offers naval architecture and engineering services.
Our experience in and understanding of the maritime industry enables us to manage complex projects with focus on efficiency and risk management from both the vessel owners/operators perspective as well as that from the contractors or shipyards point of view. This in combination with our unique manufacturing and processing capabilities offers the commercial maritime industry a variety of high quality products and solid services.
In addition to forming and processing of all gauges of steel at high tolerances for components like:
- Bow thruster tunnels
- Propulsion, machinery and deck equipment foundations
- Sea chests
- Large pressure vessels
AT&F manufactures components and systems out of specialty alloys, to name a few:
- Exhaust gas scrubber towers
- Systems with cryogenic specifications to minus 320 degrees F ( -196 degrees C)
- Heat exchangers
- Chemical handling systems
Through access to a network of high quality contractors, shipyards and marine engineering and architectural resources, we service our customers with a variety of services ranging from one off components to production line manufacturing including “turnkey” installation of our manufactured components or systems.
Located in Mumbai AT&F India’s manufacturing capabilities include heavy plate cutting, rolling and welding to exacting standards within 13,000 square meters of fabrication facilities with 50-ton lifting capacity. AT&F India’s waterfront shipyard boasts 3.5 acres with 120 meters of frontage to facilitate sea trials and the launching of vessels.
